We met up with Devin, so that he would know exactly the spot where he would be proposing to Liv. 

He followed instructions perfectly.  it was forecasting rain. But we were so relieved that it held off!

When we saw Devin and Liv interact with each other we could clearly tell how distance didn't harm their relationship but rather it drove them closer.

It's easy to see why they will remain even best friends after they become husband and wife.  When a couple start this way there's no doubt about their future.

In Liv's own words I would not change a thing! And here is their story..

Devin and Liv, met about a year ago. They lived in the same town, and even worked on the same farm. Liv scooped ice cream where as Devin milked the cows.

Each day they would pass one another just a mutual workplace never really acknowledging each other.

Than her best friend who happened to also work there mentioned that she was Devin's childhood neighbor.

 So as best friends do she introduced them!

They started chitchatting as young teens do. They went fishing but don't ask how many fish they caught, Liv made the comment that they weren't at the spot more than 10 minutes when they just started throwing away small talk.

They asked each other silly questions, and tried to impress one another. Devin only had two weeks until he was leaving for Navy bootcamp.

So, Liv wasn't looking for a romantic relationship, just thought of Devin as a good friend to talk with. 

But feelings started to change. The days to follow were filled with ice cream dates, bowling, late nights watching the stars!

So much for not wanting romance Liv and Devin! The heart wants what it wants!!

In no time Devin was asking Liv to be his girlfriend.

And of course she accepted. After all what young girl wouldn't he was a  perfect gentleman, he opens doors for her, brings her flowers, gives her compliments!

Doesn't this sound like a movie? Who does this anymore maybe a few guys but not very many.

So when he left to bootcamp it was hard not to be able speak to each other for two weeks.

For Liv it was especially harder when people would ask about Devin and ask how long they have been together, Some thought that it wouldn't last.

However, she was at Devin's graduation! And saved her money to visit him as often as she could. And now she has gotten to say yes to her forever with him!

 They are engaged now!
