I met Will and Nicole briefly at His sister's wedding that I was photographing. Actually, Will officiated his own sister's wedding how special is that!

When it came time for group pictures, I thought what a nice-looking couple, so I singled them out for some photos.

At the time I didn't know if they were married or just dating. 

Fortunately for me they were just dating at the time, so now I have the privilege of photographing their wedding this May!

However, like all photographers we can't remember everyone that we photograph so when Nicole emailed me, I didn't know who she was. 

So, when we scheduled the date for their engagement photos, I had her text me a photo of them so I would be able to recognize them.

When I saw the pic, I thought to myself I know this couple from somewhere?

So, when we saw each other, I mentioned that they looked familiar and that's when they told me where we met.  

Well, that solved that mystery!

Now let's talk a little about how Will and Nicole met. 

They met at the Cuppa Manna coffee shop Downtown Summerville. Out of nowhere Will asked Nicole if he could buy her a coffee. 

Naturally Nicole couldn't refuse such a kind and sweet offer, right?

They frequently met at the coffee shop and got to know each other while sitting on a bench at Hutchinson Park which is right across the street.

Nicole told me "That it felt so easy to talk to each other" and they both realized that they had so much in common. 

From there on they just wanted to continue seeing each other. 

They dated for over 2 years.

 One day over their usual cup of coffee. Will surprised her by popping the question!

And take note of that Ring!!  Will did good didn't he...
